Hi, I’m Jennifer.

I received my Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Arizona State University and my Master of Science degree in nursing from Grand Canyon University. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, I worked as a registered nurse for over 20 years. The first years of my nursing career were spent on medical/surgical and ICU floors at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Arizona, and the last 17 plus years I spent in home health, hospice and palliative care.

I love my family and enjoy spending time with my husband who is also my high-school sweetheart. We cherish spending time with our three young adult children. My hobbies include hiking, yoga, running and physical challenges.

I believe that healthcare professionals must partner with their patients in order to provide holistic, cost-effective, evidenced-based and comprehensive care. This starts with understanding their patient’s core values and empowering each individual to take lead of his or her own health care. I believe that lifestyle choices and prevention are foundational in avoiding chronic diseases and enjoy helping my patients understand how to incorporate these into their individual health care practices.
