An ounce of prevention is worth more than a pound of cure. I believe it is essential that we strive to treat ourselves like someone we are responsible for taking care
of. The decisions we make at the grocery store are among the most impactful to our health and the health of
our families.

Hi, I’m Will! I am a native Arizonan and grew up surrounded by citrus and farmland in Queen Creek, where I learned to appreciate hard work. Prior to college, I performed service in Germany for two years as a missionary for my church. My beautiful bride Lindsay and I were recently blessed with our first child – a darling baby girl Annie.  Since graduating PA school in 2017, I have enjoyed the challenge of working in several emergency departments in Arizona, where I continue to care for patients in their most vulnerable and critical hours of need.

The more I contemplate the state of our healthcare system, the more I have come to realize that in order to best sustain long-term health across all populations, prevention of chronic disease is key. Unfortunately, the format of our current insurance-based primary care system does not allow for
adequately addressing preventative medicine. We are subsequently losing the battle against costly chronic diseases such as diabetes, which afflicts now over 10% of Americans. For many years I have been a proponent of the direct primary care model, and see it as the most viable way to reverse these chronic disease trends while offering the full array of other vital primary care diagnostics, procedures and services.

I am beyond excited to be seeing patients in the direct primary care setting, and am hopeful that my knowledge and skills will benefit my patients here at Ark.
